Teaching

I love teaching! The University of Bergen is a wonderful place to teach. My interests range widely, and I have been fortunate enough to be able to teach a number of different courses in history and other disciplines at several different institutions over the last two decades.

Currently, at the University of Bergen I teach courses on heresy and Inquisition in early modern Europe, as well as the introduction to history and the survey course in history before 1750. I supervise MA and PhD students writing about slavery, witchcraft trials, naval warfare and the Portuguese Inquisition. It is a true privilege to teach and supervise talented students who work on subjects that I find so interesting.
